Yes, I have been lax in updating our family blog with the
latest and greatest of Ba
by C. She'll probably be upset with me later when she can read, but let me try to make it up to her (and all of our readers) now.Baby C had her first big birthday bash right after New Years Day. People came from near and far!!! Even Great G'ma M made it to help her celebrate. We all thought that was extra special considering she is 92 1/2 years old!
Baby C knew she was the special girl of the hour that day! It's really funny how they know that at such a small age.
As far as her other big events:
- she took her first real step on December 22 but really didn't want to actually walk until January 25th.
Then she was definitely on the move for good! She loves her new freedom!! And we like it too!- she started June Bugs at the gym where big sister goes to tumbling....not sure how she feels about it...think she likes it but it's hard work
- loves to talk up a storm in her little 1 year old gibberish (reminds us of how JB2 would communicate)
- loves to see what is behind door number 1, 2 3, 4.....(talking about opening cabinet doors and emptying the contents....can you say "time to Baby C-proof the house)
Overall, I would say that Baby C is a very happy, social and curious little sweetie! She loves loves loves to give cuddles unless it's nap time and she needs her favorite blanket with her....then all she wants to do is be in her special place - her crib!
