Story Time

She wasn't quite sure what we were doing waiting in the hallway with all the other babies. But she was fascinated.....

She wasn't quite sure what was getting ready to happen when we sat on the floor in a big circle with all the other babies. But she was fascinated....

She wasn't quite sure what to do when the two librarians started singing and clapping their hands. But she was fascinated.....

Then, it happened, after the second song...she realized we were there to have fun, sing songs, read a book, and meet new friends....and she began to smile and clap her hands in joyful happiness!! After all the books were read and the songs were sung, the small toy box tipped over and all the crawling friends began to move in. She wasn't quite sure what to do...she looked around....looked back at Mommy.....then, after she saw my approving smile, she moved in too. One little boy handed her a ducky he found and she gladly took it. Then it was time to clean up, so we sang the clean up song....she was sad.....you could tell....but she had a great first experience at the library!!

It wasn't until we sat back into the car that she was physically sad that we were leaving. I think we have found a new morning activity that we can share like I was able to share with the other two babies.....We are so incredibly lucky to have one more baby that loves books and is happy to go to the library. READING is FUN!!!
